He Pulls Together Healthcare

Thank you for including the article by Sarah Dry ("He Pulls Together Healthcare") in the online magazine. It was informative, creative, and very well written. The most impressive aspect of the article is not the fact that McCain is a successful, out gay man, but rather the way that Dry includes that fact as just another detail of McCain's life. I applaud the tone of the article and the progressive attitude of Aquent Partners. As a brand new recruit, that refreshing attitude makes me very glad that I'm involved with this company.

Thanks,

Matthew McClain is one-of-a-kind and your article captures his spirit. He failed to mention how much of his time he volunteers, however. He serves as the Chair of the Cities Advocating Emergency AIDS Relief (CAEAR) Coalition, based in DC, and spends a great deal of time and effort keeping the coalition moving and working toward reauthorization of the Ryan White CARE Act in FY2000. With Matthew as Chair, we are lucky, indeed, and sure to get a big WIN with reauthorization. He's an incredible guy - thanks for profiling him.
